Karissa – Office Manager
Karissa is the Office Manager with over 16 years of experience in the dental field. Karissa is from Southern California and loves cheering for her hometown sports teams. She has a rescue cat Onyx she adores. In her spare time, she loves going to the gym, hiking, and bowling. She currently bowls in a league a few days a week, had her first 300 game in 2024 and has bowled in the USBC national men’s tournament for the last few years. Her favorite part of being an office manager is being able to educate people on dental health and wellbeing. She maintains running the office smoothly and is an integral part of our team. We hope you appreciate her enthusiasm and caring personality as much as we do.
Julie – Registered Dental Hygienist
I am originally from Wisconsin and have been calling Arizona home since 2003 when I graduated with a Degree in Dental Hygiene from Northcentral Technical College in Wisconsin. I have been fortunate to have been working with Dr. Hawkins since 2003. I delight in helping educate and encourage patients about their oral health and overall wellness. I really enjoy the interaction with patients. I have 3 amazing kids that keep me busy with taking them to youth bowling league, Boy Scouts and FFA projects. I was a volunteer Girl Scout Leader for 13 years. I also enjoy camping, road trips/traveling/cruising-seeing new places, reading, watching movies, listening to live music and attending sporting events with my kids. I recently went ziplining for the 1st time, looking forward to doing more of that and explore other adventures.

Cianna – Dental Assistant
Cianna is from San Diego and moved to Arizona three years ago to be closer to her nephew and niece. She attended Arizona College to start her journey in the dental field. One thing that made her choose this field was being able to see people’s confidence go up after they leave the office.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, going to comedy shows, playing with her dog, reading and watching movies.
Ariel – Dental Assistant
Ariel is a dental assistant with two years’ experience in the dental field. Ariel was born and raised here in Arizona. She has three kids ten, four and two who keep her very busy. In her spare time, she likes watching movies. I enjoy being a dental assistant because I get to make patients feel comfortable coming to see the dentist.
